Consultancy
PTF and STC Consultancy at Oxford Aerospace
Oxford Aerospace supports the conversion of unused passenger aircraft into freighters so that operators can make the most of their fleet.
The PTF conversion involves the removal of passenger amenities such as seats and entertainment systems, modification of the cabin, typically by strengthening it to carry heavy loads, and then installing a cargo loading system.
A main deck cargo door is installed with a surrounding reinforced fuselage, and a safety net and smoke barrier between the cabin and the cockpit are set up.
