The Market

The unmanned systems sector is experiencing exponential growth and the quest of private sector and governments for advanced aerial platforms is taking an unprecedented development. Our company has secured private and government agreements for the manufacture of the SolarLight SL-1 aircraft subject to development and completion of flight tests of an aircraft prototype and concept demonstrator. Stage of Development

Stage 1 - Design: Marques Aviation has completed the conceptual design phase and we have commenced the detailed design phase of the aircraft, including sourcing of the aircraft powerplant systems, fuel system, avionics system, and sensors from suppliers, and the definition of AI sensor fusion.

Stage 2 – Manufacture, Integration & Testing, Certification: The design for manufacture of the tools and machinery at the aircraft factory has already commenced for the manufacture of two aircraft prototypes. Stage 2 will also include integration of subsystems, completion of non-destructive ground tests, implementation of manual and fully autonomous flight tests, preparation of technical documentation, and completion of aircraft certification.
